The Plough Boutique Hotel

As busy South Wales wedding photographers, we get to work at the best local wedding venues.  And this is certainly the case when we return to capture wedding photography at The Plough.

The Plough is a charming four-star boutique hotel and restaurant set in the beautiful Towy Valley at the edge of the Brecon Beacons.  This award-winning wedding venue pride themselves on giving you your day in your way.  They do this by working with you to create a wedding that perfectly meets your vision.  Whether it’s an intimate elopement for 2 or a lavish celebration for 250.  Their professional and helpful wedding team at The Plough are on hand to make sure your day is perfect.

When we capture wedding photography at The Plough, our day usually starts in their gorgeous bridal suite.  This spacious, light and elegant apartment has ample room for the wedding party, a make up artist, a hair stylist and us.  The most unobtrusive wedding photographers in South Wales, there to capture those all-important wedding preparation images.

When it comes to wedding ceremonies, The Plough offer three options.  Indoors there’s The Gallery Dining Room with elegant neutral décor and a dramatic high vaulted ceiling.  You can dress the space to your theme.  Or The Conservatory, a light-filled space, that is ideal for more intimate weddings.  Or you can choose an outdoor ceremony on the Garden Terrace and enjoy stunning views of the Brecon Beacons and Towy Valley.

Experienced The Plough wedding photographer

Reception drinks happen on the Garden Terrace where possible, to enjoy those magnificent views.  Or in the smart bar area with sumptuous seating in poorer weather.

When we capture wedding photography at The Plough, we love to take our couples on a mini photoshoot around the gardens and grounds of The Plough.  With the stunning Brecon Beacons and Towy Valley making a spectacular backdrop in our images.

All of our wedding bookings include a pre-wedding photoshoot. This means that our couples have already talked to us about their wedding photo expectations.  We’ve discussed any worries they had about being photographed and they’ve already had a chance to get used to us photographing them.  So that on the day, the photoshoot is fun and time efficient, allowing couples to enjoy their photoshoot, get fantastic images and then get back to spending the day with their loved ones.

Wedding receptions are held in The Gallery or The Conservatory depending on the size of your wedding.  As The Plough has its own award-winning restaurant it’s fair to say that food at your wedding is in safe and experienced hands.  Your wedding co-ordinator will talk you through menu option so that you can create a wedding breakfast that is perfect for you.  They are always happy to take into account special dietary requirements and there’s a children’s menu.
