The blushing bride started her day by having her hair and makeup done by Beau Bridal hair & makeup. An elegant and unique hairstyle and smokey eyes were done to match the prominent steampunk wedding theme!
She then got into her dress—a unique dress; there will never be another like it. Since she had made the dress herself, she bought the petticoats from Theatre Company, along with additional blue pieces of material and jewellery from Etsy Sellers.
The steampunk wedding theme saw the bridesmaids with tilted hats, corsets, and lace gloves to match the bride’s elegant but unique style. Pins and necklaces shaped with cogs, wings, and black jewels make the theme stick out for everyone who kept the Steampunk vibes!
Before the ceremony, there was plenty of time for photos. All the guests who showed up in steampunk attire wanted to show off their unique clothing. The groom, himself with a hat, gear pin, and even a cool pocket watch!
The ceremony began with groomsmen and bridesmaids walking down the aisle in style, followed by two dapper young men, and then the bride turning heads. The couple said their vows of love, smiled, laughed, and behold! MAN AND WIFE.
After the ceremony came a few refreshing drinks and a chance to take beautiful photos on a bright and sunny day on the Craig Y Nos grounds, the style of the grounds only adds to the couple’s unique style and aura of love on their happiest day.
Time for some family photos and funny opportunities to capture all the guests revelling in the joy of the newlyweds followed, with drinks outside.
Finally, it was time for the wedding breakfast, but not before the wedding toasts. Words of love make guests laugh and smile. The groom gave a heartwarming speech, or shall we say ‘toast’ since he made sure to hold up a slice of toast… Very punny indeed!
The speeches did bring about some loud laughs, big smiles, and tears of joy. Every emotion felt by the happy couple, family, and friends..
Later on, DJ Darren, with his steampunk mask showed up from DJ Sound & Lighting. The bride and groom cut their delicious steampunk-cogged three-tier wedding cake from squidgeycakes!

The first dance took off with the Phantom-styled DJ, and the couple shared a beautiful first dance.
They were soon joined on the dance floor by their friends and family, who celebrated the day with dancing, singing, and plenty of quirky moments.

Kerry and Anisley’s day was one to behold, and it was a fantastic experience for us at Jenkins Photography. The outfits were amazing, and we did our best to make an effort to be ‘Steampunk’ too! Every detail fit the theme, and the castle was the perfect location for this wedding.
